“Pop” vs. “Soda” vs. “Coke”
One of the many visualizations on IBMs “Many Eyes” site is this one: Percentage of people (by U.S. state) who call sugary carbonated beverages “Pop”, “Soda” and “Coke”.
“Soda” has a pretty weird distribution. “Coke” is pretty clearly centralized in the South, and “Pop” in the North, but “Soda” is all over the place.
