First Day

Today was my first day at my new job with Covarity. As far as first days go, it was pretty typical (introductions, setting up my computer, some training), but pretty positive.

The (Superficially) Good:

  • an Aeron chair
  • a brand new Intel Core 2 Duo machine that compiles at amazing speeds
  • two LCD monitors
  • Call of Duty 2 every day after work

The (Superficially) Bad:

  • You know that episode of the office where Jim plays Call of Duty with the Stamford branch? Yeah… I’m Jim.
